Aston Solar Jar 20cm

Allow the Aston Solar Jar to charge in direct sunlight for 6–8 hours; after this, it can provide light for up to 8 hours. During the winter months, charging time may be longer due to reduced sunlight. The light turns on automatically when it gets dark and stays on until the battery is fully discharged. Before first use, lift the lid and switch the button to “ON”.

Aston uses 1x AA rechargeable battery (1200 mAh). The battery is included and can be replaced.

Important information about the jar

• Wax content and heat:
  The jar contains wax, which may melt at very high temperatures. If this occurs, do not move the lantern. Leave it undisturbed—the wax will solidify again once the temperature drops.

• Water-resistant – not waterproof:​
  The jar is designed to be water-repellent. However, water may occur inside the jar due to condensation or heavy rain. Carefully lift the lid and pour out any water. Then gently wipe the inside with a soft, dry cloth.

• Leather handle made from natural material:
  The genuine leather handle may change in color and texture over time. This is a natural characteristic of leather and part of its charm—it will gradually develop a beautiful patina influenced by weather and use.

• Important:
  The jar must not be exposed to frost.
